Job summary

Novolex in Hazleton, PA is seeking a Thermoforming Process Technician to support start-ups, resolve production issues with the process team, and collaborate with Corporate engineers on new product development and R&D trials.

The role requires understanding material behavior in thermoforming, maintaining process sheets, and ensuring ISO-compliant quality. You will operate thermoforming equipment, read schematics, and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or five years relevant experience.
• Experience working with machinery.
• Experience in analyzing and solving problems.
• Good analytical skills with initiative and trouble shooting skills.
• Teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
• Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, ERP system, etc.)
• Good verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Resolve ongoing problems with process team leader.
• Support setup in bringing lines into production.
• Collaborate with corporate engineers on new product development and R&D trial requests.
• Maintain accurate and up to date process sheets.
• Be proactive in identifying improved process capabilities on the production floor.
• Assist in startup of new equipment with process support.
• Maintain and upkeep process definition sheets and tracking system.
• Operate thermoforming equipment and peripherals.
• Maintain high degree of technical proficiency through experience.
• Other duties as necessary.
