Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Thermoforming Operator to run six thermoformers, monitor quality, complete first piece inspections, and document production logs. The role requires starting up/shutting down equipment, adjusting for quality, and performing packaging while adhering to safety and PPE requirements.

The position involves reading gauges, recording heat readings, and reporting issues to supervision. You will work under a shift supervisor with final approval by the production manager.

Qualifications

• Needs ability to learn and operate all six thermoformers within specifications.
• Ability to perform first piece inspection and production log documentation.
• Safety PPE requirements and use of fire extinguisher; follow PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate all six thermoformers with minimal supervision.
• Identify heating/cooling issues and report promptly.
• Start up/shut down machines and make adjustments as needed.
• Read gauges and record heat readings; perform quality checks.
• Package products properly and stock packing materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working environment; follow safety rules.
