Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) is seeking an Engineer II, Thermal Systems, in Riverside, CA to help design and analyze HVAC, Fire Suppression, and cooling systems for heavy-duty buses. You will model concepts with CAD, review drawings, and support manufacturing with lean practices.

Responsibilities include ECN execution, BOM preparation, and ensuring designs meet industry standards, with emphasis on quality and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo) and GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and layouts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development, implementation, and analysis of thermal systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Use CAD to model 3D designs and produce detailed 2D drawings.
• Support ECN processes and documentation.
• Prepare material specifications and BOMs.
• Deliver complete engineering packages with manufacturing efficiency in mind.
