Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer to support proposal, design, and execution phases across markets including Power Generation, Data Centers, and District Cooling.

You will analyze weather profiles, build thermal performance models, and carry out cost and performance assessments to guide technical solutions for clients. The role requires a BS in engineering, proficiency with Word/PowerPoint, advanced Excel, and experience with thermodynamic modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university with focus on thermodynamics, heat transfer, or energy systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; advanced Excel with macros and VBA.
• Familiarity with design procedures, P&IDs, and inter-disciplinary communication.

Responsibilities

• Undertake engineering and design work independently.
• Analyze and calculate the optimum weather design point based on project location.
• Develop and improve thermal performance analysis tools to understand system performance.
• Present and review various technical solutions with clients.
• Provide technical support to sales and marketing for bids and proposals.
