Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years experience performing thermal and structural analysis.
• Experience building and running nonlinear thermal/structural FEA models.
• CAD proficiency (Siemens NX or similar) for design modification and defeaturing.
• Steady and transient thermal modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build, run, and maintain FEA models of reactor components and subsystems.
• Provide thermal-mechanical assessments ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with designers to guide sizing and material selection based on results.
• Document analytical results, assumptions, and limitations for stakeholders.
• Support test engineers with collaborative test design and data review.
• Develop internal tools to enable engineers to perform analyses quickly.
• Provide technical mentorship across teams.
