Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a SIOP Supply Planning Manager to drive planning and execution within the SIOP framework for the Thermal portfolio. You will balance demand, supply, and inventory while coordinating with manufacturing, procurement, demand planning, and business operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration across sites, finance, and operations to align assumptions with budgets and forecasts, and to drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in supply planning, SIOP/IBP, or production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP and planning systems (SAP, Kinaxis, OMP, or equivalent) and data analysis tools.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the supply plan within the SIOP process, balancing demand, supply, and inventory for the Thermal Management business.
• Translate demand plans into production and material requirements in collaboration with factories, buyers, and suppliers.
• Lead supply reviews to highlight risks, constraints, and mitigation plans; communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage inventory health, including safety stock levels, excess, and obsolescence for assigned products.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement to identify and address capacity or material constraints.
• Participate in monthly SIOP cycles, providing data and insights for supply, demand, and reconciliation meetings.
• Partner with finance and operations to align supply planning assumptions with budget and forecast cycles.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, system parameters, and cross-functional communication.
• Support new product introductions and product transitions, ensuring seamless integration into the supply plan.
• Track and report key supply metrics, including on-time delivery, supply adherence, and inventory performance.
