Job summary

Bodycote in Fountain Inn, SC is seeking a HIP Operator to support essential equipment operation in the Control Room. You will start and monitor units, sample gas during cycles, and complete documentation for delivery to customers.

This safety-sensitive role requires weekend night shifts (Friday–Sunday, 7pm–7:30am) with potential overtime, plus adherence to ITAR, PPE, and established procedures. A high school diploma and heat-treatment experience are required; a $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance: US citizen or permanent resident.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in heat treatment operation or related process.
• Overtime or weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment in the Control Room.
• Load/unload parts and manage load diagrams.
• Record data and update delivery documentation.
• Conduct gas analysis and manage gas recovery as applicable.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Report issues to supervision promptly.
