Job summary

Bodycote in Fountain Inn, SC is seeking a HIP Operator to support equipment operation in the control room and ensure safe, efficient cycle delivery. Responsibilities include starting and monitoring units, sampling gas during cycles, and documenting results for customers.

Ideal candidates will have high school education, experience in heat treatment or related water management, and be able to work weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience with heat treatment operation and/or drinking/waste water management.
• May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor units from the Control Room to support cycle execution.
• Build and box cycles, including loading/unloading customer parts onto/in equipment.
• Update KPI Database and create/correct Load Diagrams.
• Conduct gas analysis and manage reclaimed gas as appropriate.
• Adhere to SOPs, PPE requirements, and safety rules; report issues promptly.
• Operate pallet jack and crane when required; maintain safe working practices.
