Job summary

CoolIT is seeking a Thermal Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and validate liquid cooling solutions for high-performance electronics. You will lead product development from concept through production, and work with customers to resolve engineering challenges remotely and on site.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with strong CAD/FEA skills (SolidWorks) and a track record in thermal‑mechanical design for mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Proven experience designing mechanical components for mass production.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and FEA.
• Experience with CAD and simulation tools to create production-ready models.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop thermal‑mechanical products and components (passive cold plates, manifolds, modular cooling assemblies) focusing on performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Lead product development from concept through production, including design studies, prototype development, verification, risk assessment, and release to manufacturing.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation per standards and DFM/ GD&T.
• Conduct thermal, fluid, and structural analyses; perform tests, data analysis, and root cause investigations to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and ensure successful integration during the design cycle.
• Act as technical representative at customer sites; provide support, participate in design reviews, and assist with issue resolution from development to early production.
