Lucid Motors is seeking a Thermal Laboratory Technician to join the Thermal Systems team in California. You will support thermal testing, instrumentation, and prototyping for prototype vehicles, performing builds, data collection, and troubleshooting with engineers.

The role emphasizes safe lab practices, calibration records, and hands-on fabrication of harnesses and test benches. Travel to sites may be required; a strong willingness to learn on the job is encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency with fabrication tools, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Hands-on experience building/reworking harnesses, test benches, fixtures, or prototype vehicle systems.
• Install/validate sensors, configure DAQ channels, use multimeters/oscilloscopes/power supplies to troubleshoot.
• Execute test procedures under engineer direction with safe power-up, accurate records, clear deviation reporting.
• Knowledge of lab safety, energy isolation/PPE, and clear communication with engineers.

Aufgaben

• Fabricate, build, and rework prototype harnesses, test benches, fixtures, and interfaces to drawings.
• Install sensors, configure DAQ, maintain calibration records, troubleshoot signal quality.
• Execute tests with safe power-up, collect traceable data and run logs.
• Troubleshoot bench, harness, sensor, and test-article issues using fault isolation and tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair prototype vehicles and bench systems; instrument for tests.
• Follow lab safety, document build records, BOM updates, and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with engineers to convert test intent into executable builds and tests.
