Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Thermal Engineering Intern in Long Beach, CA to support spacecraft production from conception to flight. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentors to develop efficient thermal solutions while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic space environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering/physics/math degrees with a GPA of 3.0+, and have 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and grow skills both technically and professionally under mentorship.
• Work with a fast-paced team to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1's with mentors and supervisors to track progress and learning.
• Participate in tech talks and network with interns and employees at events.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering/Physics/Math
