Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Thermal Engineer to join the Active Thermal Solutions team in Etters, PA. The role focuses on developing and optimizing active thermal management for high-speed interconnect systems.

You will work with customers to define boundary conditions, perform CFD simulations, and validate designs through lab testing to deliver production-ready solutions that balance performance and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Thermal Eng or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in thermal design/analysis for cooling electronic systems.
• Proficiency with CFD tools and thermal instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to define boundary conditions and performance requirements.
• Develop and execute thermal models using CFD tools to predict heat dissipation.
• Plan and perform lab testing to validate thermal designs and refine models.
• Correlate experimental data with simulations and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to customers and cross-functional teams.
