Job summary

Blueshift Materials Inc. is seeking a Co-Op/Internship candidate starting in January in Spencer, MA. The intern will work with the Application and Research team to design and develop processes, run thermal tests, generate and analyze data, and prepare project reports and conference papers.

You will also develop lab-scale techniques for thermal tests and provide samples for customer projects. The role emphasizes heat transfer theory, CAD tooling, MATLAB/Python for validations, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university-level bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or similar disciplines.
• Classes related to thermal engineering/management are a high requirement.
• Laboratory experience and basic understanding of lab safety required.
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint required; project management or DOE software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop processes and test methods.
• Execute thermal experiments and validation.
• Generate and analyze data; prepare project reports and prereview conference papers.
• Provide samples to test and support customer projects.
• Work with Application & Research on design and requirements for customer projects.
• Follow all lab safety protocols (PPE).
• Prepare presentations and maintain documentation.
