Job summary

Blueshift offers a Co-Op/Internship starting in January to advance polymer aerogel technology with the Application and Research team. You will design processes, run thermal tests, and analyze data while preparing reports and conference papers.

The role includes developing lab-scale techniques and providing samples for customer projects. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Physics, with heat transfer knowledge, CAD experience (Fusion360), and MATLAB/Python

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university-level bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or similar disciplines.
• Classes related to thermal engineering/management are a high requirement.
• Experience with CAD or thermal modeling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop processes and test methods for polymer aerogel projects.
• Execute thermal experiments and thermal validation; generate and analyze data.
• Prepare project reports, presentations and prereview conference papers.
