Job summary

TheraDynamics in New York is seeking a Full Patient Transporter to assist staff, transport residents to therapy areas, and support daily treatment operations.

You will ensure safety, help set up and clean treatment spaces, maintain equipment, and assist with light clerical tasks. The role requires strong communication and organizational abilities and adherence to mandatory training sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be goal oriented and self-motivated.
• Well-organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist unit staff with transfer of residents/patients as necessary.
• Transport residents and patients to/from therapy treatment areas.
• Monitor residents and patients during exercise routines.
• Assist with set-up/clean-up of treatment areas.
• Assist with cleaning and distribution of wheelchairs.
• Maintain equipment and make minor repairs.
• Assist with clerical duties (copying, faxing, filing, phones).
• Keep work area neat and orderly.
• Maintain safety during transport and in treatment areas.
• Respond to instructions, solve problems, and work independently.
• Attend and participate in mandatory in-service programs.
