Job summary

TheraDynamics is seeking a Full Patient Transporter to assist with transfer of residents/patients, transport to therapy areas, and monitor during exercise sessions. You will help set up/clean treatment spaces, handle wheelchairs, and support clerical tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, healthcare experience preferred, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be goal oriented, self-motivated and well organized.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transfer of residents/patients between areas.
• Transport residents to/from therapy treatment areas.
• Monitor residents and patients during exercise routines.
• Assist with set-up/clean-up of treatment areas.
• Assist with cleaning and distribution of wheelchairs.
• Maintain equipment and make minor repairs.
• Assist with clerical duties (copying, faxing, filing, answering phones).
• Keep work area neat and orderly.
• Maintain safety during transport and treatment activities.
• Attend mandatory in-service programs and training.

Full Patient Transporter Job Description

• Assistunit staff with transfer of residents/patients as necessary.
• Transportsresidents and patients to/from therapy treatment areas.

• Respondswell to instructions and guidance, finds solutions to work relatedproblems, and completes assignments independently, not requiring constantsupervision.
• Attendsand participates in required and MANDATORY in-service educationalprograms, on the job training programs, etc. as directed and/or scheduled.
