The Therapy Technician supports Therapists and Therapist Assistants in delivering therapeutic healthcare services and assists with clinical responsibilities.
This part-time role requires flexible availability during clinic hours from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, at locations in Eden Prairie, Chaska, and Waconia.
Twin Cities Orthopedics, part of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), aims to empower patients with greater control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in non-billable patient services, including guiding patients through pre-therapy exercises.
- Follow instructions from Therapists to educate and intervene with patients.
- Help organize and prepare educational and therapeutic literature, and contribute to program development.
- Collaborate with sports medicine teams for specific programs such as golf, dance, and throwing.
- Coordinate schedules and train new Volunteer Techs.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in exam rooms and therapy spaces.
- Potentially lead group and individual fitness classes if qualified.
- Safely handle weights and equipment for fitness and sports training.
- Assist with check-in procedures for fitness classes and coordinate equipment repairs.
- Transport patients within the clinic as needed.
- Perform additional site-specific duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Preference for candidates pursuing or enrolled in graduate programs in Physical or Occupational Therapy or Master's in Athletic Training.
- Minimum of 100 hours related experience.
