Job summary

ClearSky Health is seeking a Therapy Technician to support licensed therapists and provide essential patient care in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes safety, infection prevention, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to promote healing and comfort.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred, and current BLS certification. This on-site position requires strong communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and delivers basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, ambulating, comfort measures).
• Transfers patients using proper body mechanics and safe handling.
• Documents vital signs and intake/output.
• Reports changes to nursing or therapy staff.
• Consults with Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Responds to patient and family calls and requests.
• Assists in preparing and maintaining gymnasium unit.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
