Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is seeking a Therapy Technician to support therapy services under licensed supervision. The role includes clinic duties, equipment maintenance, and front-office tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and preferred college coursework in exercise science or related fields. TOA emphasizes a positive work environment and comprehensive benefits across multiple locations in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• College coursework in exercise science, physical therapy, or occupational therapy preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for therapy services under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist, or athletic trainer.
• Daily cleaning of the therapy clinic's exercise/treatment equipment.
• Wash, dry, and fold linens.
• Participate in facility and equipment inspections.
• Manage supply inventory.
• Complete and maintain documentation of internal competencies, modality, and exercise training.
• Assist with DME services as necessary.
• Perform front office functions including scheduling, checking in, check out, and collecting deductibles or past due balances.
• Act as a liaison between the patient and therapist via efficient communication.
• Effectively manage work time to complete tasks assigned by manager.
• Initiate teamwork to support colleagues and deliver care.
• Demonstrate a professional, empathetic, service-oriented attitude towards patients and families.
• Work with supervising therapists according to service guidelines.
• Adhere to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in exercise science, physical therapy, or occupational therapy (preferred)

Our TOA Therapy Technician plays an important role in the overall delivery of orthopaedic care and services to our patients throughout the area. • Adhere to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate
• College course work/degree in an area of exercise science, physical therapy, or occupational therapy is preferred.
• Current certification in CPR.
