Job summary

Encompass Health in Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who is a licensed clinician and passionate about leading while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. You will balance clinical excellence with team leadership, mentoring therapists, and coordinating care to help patients achieve meaningful outcomes.

In this role, you will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, develop therapy plans, monitor patient progress, and drive quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP license required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
