Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to guide a clinical team while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. You will mentor therapists, supervise staff, and ensure treatment plans drive meaningful outcomes for patients.

In this role, you will balance clinical excellence with team leadership, coordinate scheduling and training, and drive quality improvements across the unit within a growing inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP.
• BLS (CPR) required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
