Job summary

Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Le Claire, IA, seeks a Therapy Team Leader who leads while continuing to deliver hands-on patient care. This role blends clinical excellence with team leadership, mentoring therapists and supporting staff development.

You will provide patient evaluations, develop therapy plans, supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, coordinate tasks and schedules, monitor outcomes, and drive continuous quality improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire in this role.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
