Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who balances clinical excellence with team leadership while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. The role includes supervising therapists, assistants, and technicians, and developing staff through mentoring.

You will perform patient evaluations, develop therapy treatments, monitor responses, and drive continuous quality improvement across the inpatient rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certification preferred
• Leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.

• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
