Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to balance clinical excellence with team leadership, mentoring fellow therapists while continuing hands-on patient care. The role emphasizes supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and driving quality improvements across inpatient rehabilitation teams.

The position requires a state PT/OT/SLP license, CPR/BLS, and at least three years of relevant discipline experience, with leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
