Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to blend hands-on patient care with leading a supportive therapy team. You will evaluate patients, develop treatments, and supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians while promoting staff development and performance management.

The role requires a current PT/OT/SLP license, CPR/BLs, and at least three years of discipline-specific experience. Leadership experience is preferred to help drive quality and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
