Job summary

Encompass Health in Illinois is seeking a PT Therapy Team Leader who can lead while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. You will balance clinical excellence with team leadership, mentoring and developing fellow therapists to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.

You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, develop treatment plans, and coordinate team tasks and schedules to meet business goals, while driving continuous quality improvement across the department.

Qualifications

• Current state PT/OT/SLP license.
• BLS CPR either already or within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
