Job summary

Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance clinical excellence with team leadership, continuing to provide hands-on patient care. You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians while developing and mentoring staff to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes evaluating patients, coordinating therapy plans, and driving program quality in an inpatient rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP is required.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
