The Arc of the Ozarks is hiring a Medical Scheduling Specialist for Dynamic Strides Therapy in Republic, MO. You’ll coordinate appointments across 24 therapy providers, helping children and families access OT, PT, Speech, Aquatics, AAC, and Feeding Therapy services.

This in-person, full-time role emphasizes organized scheduling, communication with families and providers, and accurate EHR data entry, insurance verification, and front-desk support to keep the clinic running smoothly each day.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and schedule changes accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm evaluations, follow-ups, and recurring sessions.
• Coordinate schedules across 24 therapy providers for efficient use of appointments.
• Respond to cancellations and rescheduling requests.
• Maintain client and appointment data in the EHR.
• Verify insurance information and assist with payer-related scheduling.
• Communicate with clients, families, providers and team members.
