Job summary

Howard Brown Health is seeking a Senior Manager of Therapy Services to lead clinical and administrative operations for behavioral health programs in Chicago, IL. You will direct a team of licensed therapists and interns to expand access to LGBTQ+ focused care.

Under the Medical Director’s supervision, you will drive program goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen collaboration across Medical, Case Management, and Psychiatry teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Minimum seven (7) years’ work experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or related field required.
• Within seven years, at least five years of leadership experience in a clinical setting required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, referrals, assessments, and therapy services (50% Clinical; 50% Administrative).
• Manage daily clinical functions including staff schedules, program evaluation, and productivity.
• Develop program goals, procedures, and innovative mental health programming.
• Review performance and quality improvement efforts and support changes as needed.
• Collaborate with Medical, Case Management, Psychiatry, and other disciplines to ensure integrated care.
• Collaborate with billing partners to improve reimbursement and benefit verification processes.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate licensed therapists and interns.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to help staff achieve licensure.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
