Description:The organization is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to support students and staff within various programs and member districts.The role of the Speech Language Pathologist is to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social-communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.Work directly with students in the school setting, provide case management duties for speech-only students, and deliver consultative services.Be part of a multidisciplinary team, including various professionals, working to identify and evaluate students needing school-based speech and language therapy services.Participate and assist in the development of initial evaluation, re-evaluation, and annual review conferences as appropriate for students aged 3-21 (inclusive).Implement student interventions and obtain data related to interventions provided.Assist in referrals to inter-district programs and serve as liaison among parents, individual schools, and other agencies for children with disabilities.Additional duties may include evaluating and implementing assistive technology, conducting student observations, implementing interventions, and assisting with staff training.This is not a supervisory position and does not include evaluation of colleagues.
