Qualifications

Job description

Role:

The role involves providing speech and language services in a school setting, working closely with students, teachers, and parents to support academic and social development.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Provide training and resources to educators to facilitate speech therapy goals within classrooms.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must have a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field, hold a valid SLP license, and possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Preferred experience includes working in schools, early childhood, or pediatrics, with strong knowledge of speech development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain confidential student records.
