Description:Candidates must possess critical care experience within the last 12 months.Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.RRT credentialing and a valid state license are essential.Candidates will work 3 shifts of 12 hours each week.They are required to be available for all scheduled shifts and cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside of approved time off.Experience with adult trauma and burns, as well as complex sleep-disordered breathing, is required.The patient population includes a variety of critically ill patients of all ages.Key responsibilities include monitoring, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and care of patients in a high-acuity environment.The work environment is fast-paced, with support from various interdisciplinary teams.This position involves a high level of patient interaction and requires adherence to several clinical protocols and procedures.Candidates will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in managing ventilator settings and interpreting arterial blood gases.Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work weekends are essential.
