Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 12-week travel assignment in Macon, GA. The role requires experience in critical care, including intubation, airway management, and arterial line insertion, with ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT certifications.

The position includes night shifts with 12-hour blocks, weekend coverage every other weekend, and floating within the hospital. Compliance with onboarding and holiday coverage is expected.

Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

No call required.

Floating is required within the hospital/scope of practice.

Compliance is required to start on time.

If not compliant in time, there will be a push back of two weeks due to orientation schedule.

If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.

If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays.

If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Candidates will be clinically screened to determine fit.

If the candidate passes the clinical screen and meets guidelines, they will be sent for final decision.

Maximum RTO is seven days.

All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission.

No RTO requests can be made during orientation week.

Please ensure compliance with all onboarding requirements.

Modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty.

For this role, candidates should have experience with various respiratory therapies and skills, including high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy care, and the interpretation of arterial blood gases.

Experience with critical care environments is essential.
