Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Alaska. The clinician will cover outpatient, acute care, and LTC settings, with the ability to float within scope to meet facility needs. Shift structure includes day blocks with 5x8 hours and some variability.

Start date ASAP, assignment length 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours and no weekend requirements. The role requires a current AK license and BLS/NBCOT certifications.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology.
• BLS, NBCOT, AK License required.
• AK license and credentials must be active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Will float within scope to meet facility needs (Outpatient, Acute Care, LTC).
• Cover 5x8 day shifts and variable shifts as needed.
• Support inpatient and outpatient services across multiple units.

HOUSING/INFORMATION Facility provides housing to travelers during assignment. Housing units are typically 1-bedroom apartments, but may be a shared unit with another traveler. Housing will be available for move-in not earlier than 72 hours before contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after contract ends. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED Housing units are typically large enough to accommodate only the traveler. Bringing additional family members is not common and needs to be approved by the facility. Housing unit will need to be cleaned upon departure or it will be subject to additional cleaning fees billed to traveler
