Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist traveler for an acute care unit. The assignment spans 20 weeks with day shifts, 8 hours per day, five days a week, with potential for four 10-hour days.

Candidates must hold state OT license, BLS, and NBCOT, with at least one year of experience in orthopedics and neuro rehab. The role includes splinting, upper/lower extremity rehab, and geriatric neurologic care.

Responsibilities

Description:

Minimum experience required is 1 year.

The unit accepts first-time travelers.

Required skills include orthopedics, dynamic splints, functional splints, static splints, amputee care, upper/lower extremity rehabilitation, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, and other progressive neurological disorders.

Candidates must hold a state license, BLS certification, and NBCOT certification.

The schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with flexibility to consider 4 days at 10 hours.

Weekends and holidays are part of the rotation, in an acute care hospital setting.

Travelers are expected to work if one major holiday falls within the assignment period.

If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work both.

If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two out of the three holidays.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Full compliance is required to start on time.

If not compliant in time, there may be a pushback of 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Locals are accepted at the same rate.

All compliance documents are required by the specified deadline.

Modules include orientation and vary by specialty.

Modules are recorded via transcripts.
