Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week Therapy to work in outpatient and acute care settings in Spruce Pine, NC. The role includes providing evidence-based PT services, manual therapy, gait training, and vestibular rehab as part of a coordinated care team.

You'll collaborate with PTs, OTs, and SLPs, use CERNER for acute care and NetHealth for outpatient records, and share responsibilities during rotating weekends and limited Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state (NC) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience in outpatient and acute care settings.
• Required certifications as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in outpatient and acute care settings.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, vestibular rehab, balance and gait training.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care.
• Follow facility protocols and EMR documentation in CERNER/NetHealth.

Must-Have:

Outpatient and acute care experience

Description:The unit provides services in both outpatient and acute care settings.It includes two outpatient clinics and an acute care facility.The staff consists of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.The patient ratios range from 9 to 11 patients per day per full-time equivalent (FTE).Commonly used equipment includes PT modalities, a pool, cardiovascular machines, and balance training tools.The electronic medical record systems used are CERNER for acute care and Nethealth for outpatient services.Physical therapy procedures performed include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, balance training, and gait training.Candidates should exhibit a team-oriented and outgoing personality.Orthopedic, sports medicine, spine, and manual therapy skills are preferred.Vestibular, vertigo, and stroke rehabilitation experience is also beneficial.Weekends are rotated every fifth weekend with limited patient visits.Only priority patients are seen on Saturdays for 2-3 hours.There are no Sunday visits.
