Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a home health assignment lasting 13 weeks. You will conduct adult home health visits, travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic, and work about 40 hours per week with 5–10 patient visits daily.

Description:This is a home health assignment.The contractor will be responsible for driving to patients' homes daily.Periodic office meetings are also required.The contractor must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic.Mileage will be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate.Daily patient visits will range from 5 to 10 patients.Weekly productivity expectations are set at 30 points, which equates to approximately 40 hours per week.Each type of visit and activity has a different point value assigned to it.The average documentation must be completed within 24 hours of each patient appointment.Delayed and incomplete documentation will impact billing and follow-up patient care.There are no guaranteed hours with this assignment.If the weekly patient census is low, the contractor has the option to float to a nearby clinic for additional hours.The contractor must accept every patient assigned, regardless of distance.Candidates should have experience in home health, especially handling start of care and follow-up cases.First-time home health travelers will not be accepted.The contractor should have a good understanding of productivity requirements and expectations.
