Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Clinic Assistant (Therapy/ Rehabilitation Technician) to support therapists with patient care and clerical duties in a busy clinic. You will greet and register patients, prepare treatment rooms, assist with exercises and transfers under supervision, and help maintain supplies and equipment.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma and CPR certification within 90 days, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS/NRP) within 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care tasks under therapist supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist with evaluations and treatments.
• Greet patients and register/escort them as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist with scheduling.
• Stock supplies and maintain equipment and cleanliness.
