Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Clinic Assistant (Therapy/ Rehabilitation Technician) to support daily operations in patient care and clerical tasks. You will greet patients, prepare rooms, assist therapists, and help maintain supplies under supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR certification within 90 days, and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy clinical setting. Prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and escort patients; prepare treatment rooms and areas.
• Assist therapists with patient treatment as directed; provide coverage as needed.
• Maintain linen stock and clinical supplies; assist in ordering supplies.
• Clean and maintain equipment and treatment areas; report broken items.
• Handle administrative tasks and daily scheduling; answer phones professionally.
