Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• CPR certification (BLS/NRP) for healthcare providers within 90 days required.
• Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients professionally and informs therapist of arrival; prepares treatment rooms and areas for evaluations and treatment.
• Assists with patient treatment as directed by therapist and may provide coverage as needed.
• Stocks linen cabinets and maintains linen levels; empties dirty hampers as requested.
• Maintains clinical supply par levels and assists in ordering supplies as directed.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and treatment areas; reports any broken or missing equipment.
• Performs administrative tasks and prepares the schedule for the next day; adheres to schedules.
• Answers telephones with proper salutation and assists with other administrative duties.
• Participates in meetings and committees as requested by supervisor.
