MedStar Health is seeking a Clinic Assistant (Therapy/Rehabilitation Technician) to support daily operations and patient care. You will greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, assist therapists, and handle routine administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication with patients and staff. CPR certification is required within 90 days, and the position may involve various duties as directed by therapists.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• CPR certification (BLS/NRP) for healthcare providers within 90 days required.
• Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients professionally and informs therapist of arrival; prepares treatment rooms and areas for evaluations and treatment.
• Assists with patient treatment as directed by therapist and may provide coverage as needed.
• Stocks linen cabinets and maintains linen levels; empties dirty hampers as requested.
• Maintains clinical supply par levels and assists in ordering supplies as directed.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and treatment areas; reports any broken or missing equipment.
• Performs administrative tasks and prepares the schedule for the next day; adheres to schedules.
• Answers telephones with proper salutation and assists with other administrative duties.
• Participates in meetings and committees as requested by supervisor.
