CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is seeking a Therapy Aide for per diem work in Ozark, Missouri. The role supports therapists with patient tasks, transfers, positioning, and equipment setup to aid recovery of individuals with brain injuries, spinal injuries, and other conditions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification (or completion within 90 days). Prior hospital therapy aide experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment.
• One year hospital experience as a therapy aide preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient-related tasks assigned by therapist.
• Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment areas, wheelchairs and other equipment.
• Assists patients with transfers and with donning/doffing appliances.
• Positions patients with parallel bars and prepares for standing with orthotic devices.
• Transports patients to/from therapy sessions as needed.
• Assists with treatment activities and equipment setup under therapist supervision.
• Supports patient-related activities and equipment preparation for therapy sessions.
