Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Ozark, Missouri, is seeking a Therapy Aide for a full-time role at our brand-new inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The position supports therapists with patient care, transfers, and equipment setup, contributing to a high level of patient support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient-related tasks assigned by therapist.
• Lift patients to/from mats, treatment tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Assist patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.
• Position patients for standing with orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.
• Transport patients to/from therapy as needed.
• Prepare and assist with equipment setup and patient positioning for therapy sessions.
