Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation in Ozark, Missouri is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed PT to implement the therapy plan of care and help coordinate patient care.

This per diem role offers an extensive orientation and potential for future full-time opportunities, with benefits including eligibility for 401k after hour milestones; current licensure required or eligible, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT.
• Delegate and direct supportive personnel to enhance patient care services.
• Communicate with supervising PT regarding schedules, assessments, and modifications to treatment plans.
• Participate in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Perform other professional duties within the scope of practice.
