Job summary

CoxHealth Ozark is seeking a Therapy Technician to support clinicians in the therapy area. Under supervision, you prepare and clean treatment spaces, transfer and transport patients, and assist during therapy sessions.

The role emphasizes clear communication, patient care, and reliable teamwork in a busy outpatient setting. High school diploma required; prior medical field experience preferred; day shift, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Preferred: previous experience in the medical field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/clean and maintain the therapy treatment area.
• Transfer and transport patients, prepare them for therapy, and assist clinicians.

Job Summary

Under the direction and supervision of clinician, performs only delegated, selected, or routine tasks in specific situations. These duties include preparing/cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area. The therapy tech may also transfer and transport patients, prepare them for therapy, and assist clinician as instructed.
