Job summary

SSM Health Day Institute in Warrenton, MO is seeking a Rehab Aide to join our outpatient rehabilitation program. You will support therapists and help patients with transfers, positioning, and equipment, contributing to a multidisciplinary team focused on neurological and medically complex care.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, hourly compensation starting at $18 and increasing with experience; there is a strong onboarding process, PTO, and comprehensive benefits in a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current State Driver’s License in good standing required.
• Class E license allowing for the operation of the shuttle bus prior to start date.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.
• Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances specific to the facility/department.
• Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares patients for standing with appropriate orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.
• Transports patients to/from therapy as needed.
• Assists therapist with other patient-related treatment activities as appropriate and provides equipment.
• Assist with patient-related activities, including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice Act.
• Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
