Job summary

HealthPartners Regions Inpatient Rehab is seeking a Therapy Aide to provide patient support and maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment. You will assist clinicians, manage supplies and work with patients across age groups, from children to seniors, in a supportive treatment setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care and adherence to safety standards, with a variety of duties that enhance visit quality and department efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of customer service experience is required; health-related study may substitute.
• Current BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Enrollment in or completion of a health-related degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Support patient treatment functions of the rehabilitation department.
• Assist with clinic maintenance and cleanliness and provide clinician support.
• Assist with supply management and ensure a welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Work with patients of all ages including pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Job description

Regions Inpatient Rehab department has an opportunity available for a customer-oriented individual to join the team in a Therapy Aide position. This position provides support to the patient treatment function of the Rehabilitation department, clinic maintenance and cleanliness, clinician support and supply management. Creates and maintains a welcoming environment for all patients, visitors and staff. Demonstrates the ability to work with patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

8 hrs/week

8:00am-4:30pm
Every other weekend

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.

• One year of customer service experience in any setting. Enrollment in or completion of an associates or bachelor’s degree program in a health-related field may substitute for experience.

• Current BLS certification (i.e. American Heart BLS for Healthcare Providers) required. If not currently certified, must obtain within 60 days of hire. Demonstrates at the time of employment or within 60 days of hire and every two years thereafter, competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enrollment in or completion of an associates or bachelor’s degree program in a health-related field.

• Experience volunteering or working in a patient care setting.
