Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services seeks a Clinical Support Technician to join the Primary Care team. You will support patient care and help maintain a safe, stocked, and organized work area in accordance with HealthPartners policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of healthcare or customer service experience, and completion of Medical Terminology and Pharmacology courses within six months. BLS certification is required within a week of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Two years of customer service and/or healthcare experience.
• Complete Medical Terminology and Pharmacology online courses within six months of hire.
• Complete BLS course within one week of hire and maintain BLS certification per AHA.

Position SummaryThis position will provide and/or support patient care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards and HealthPartners policies and procedures. In addition, may function in supply aid and/or sterilization capacity by maintaining a safe work area and ensuring that it is adequately stocked, cleaned and organized. Implement cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience
  
  
  
  

Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling

Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
