Job summary

Tessie Cleveland Community Services Corporation is seeking a licensed therapist to counsel clients and families through individual and group therapy in field or community settings. The role includes oversight of Rehab Specialists/Case Managers, ensuring quality documentation, and providing professional consultation to interdisciplinary teams.

The candidate must have a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy, and be licensed or waived in California.

Qualifications

• One year of direct experience with severely emotionally disturbed children in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed, Registered or Waived Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed/Registered/ Waived Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the California Board and Behavioral Sciences; Will obtain LCSW/LMFT within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy to clients in field or community locations.
• Develops biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Monitors progress toward goals and supports clients in daily living skills and access to services.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team conferences and mandatory meetings.
• Completes documentation timely and adheres to agency policies.
