Qualifikationen

• One year direct experience with severely emotionally disturbed children in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, early childhood development and family dynamics.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and MS Office.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.
• Valid CA driver’s license and insurability; reliable transportation.

• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy in field/community settings.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and coach daily living skills including medical, dental and psychiatric services.
• Utilize the Shared Core Practice model in service delivery and planning.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences and mandatory meetings.
• Complete documentation timely and in line with agency policies.
• Respond to emergencies using crisis intervention to deescalate situations.
• Oversee the substance abuse counselor’s services and review documentation.
• Engage in quality assurance and adhere to agency policies.
