The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, it serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Programs include inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment.
We are currently seeking a PRN Master's Level Therapist/Clinician to provide therapeutic services to patients, including group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
Education: Master's degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling or a similar field required. Licensure is preferred.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills. Must have strong clinical assessment skills. Addiction recovery and suicide prevention experience preferred.
Machines, Tools, & Equipment: Telephone, computer and software programs, paging system, audio-visual equipment, fax machine, copy machine, physical restraints, first aid items, program manuals, and shredder.
